Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and 8 Pro
After the success of Note 7 series, Xiaomi has launched Note 8 series in China. Xiaomi announced two smartphones Note 8 and Note 8 Pro under 8 series. The company may launch more phones under the same series just like Note 7S.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and 8 Pro comes with a gradient design on back with a Quad Camera Setup. In terms of imaging, Redmi Note 8 has four cameras (48MP primary camera, ultra wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens and 2MP depth sensor) and 13MP selfie camera. This device is powered by Snapdragon 665 SoC. Redmi Note 8 includes 4000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and IR blaster.
The Redmi Note 8 Prohas a 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens and 2MP depth sensor. On the front facing camera, it has a 20MP selfie shooter. Redmi Note 8 Pro is powered by Helio G9T SoC and Mali G76. This device also has a liquid cooling system in it to maintain the device temperature. Redmi Note 8 Pro has a bigger battery of 4500 mAh than Redmi Note 7 Pro.
Both smartphones runs on MIUI 10 based on Android Pie and packs FHD+ IPS LCD display (1080×2340 pixels) with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, waterdrop-style notch and Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, 8 Pro Price
Redmi Note 8 priced at CNY 999 ( around Rs. 10,000) for the base variant 4GB + 64GB and CNY 1,199 ( around Rs. 12,000) and CNY 1,399 (around Rs. 14,000) in China. The first sale for Redmi Note 8 will start on September 17.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro priced at CNY 1,399 (around Rs. 14,000) for its base variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of in-built storage. The 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB models have been priced at CNY 1,599 (around Rs. 16,000) and CNY 1,799 (around Rs. 18,000) in China. The first sale for the Redmi Note 8 Pro will start on September 3.
